Our Story

The Farm House Kids Co. is located in the historic downtown of Ponca City. It is owned by Derion Schieber. Derion grew up in Dallas, Texas, A big city girl you could say. She attended college at Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) where she obtained her degree in Business Management and a minor in Business Sustainability. She found a passion for businesses contributing to society but also having the responsibility to give back to the community they serve. During her time in college, she found the love of her life, a farmer from a small town in Oklahoma. They soon married and started to build their life in Ponca City. Derion worked in Tulsa, and then later worked for Oklahoma State University. She has always been an entrepreneur at heart. With every year, came a new idea. After her first was born, the only baby boutique in town closed down. With news of her second, she knew she wanted to start her own boutique. She wanted to be present in the community where she is building her roots.
The Farm House Kids Co. is a dream come true for Derion. Her mission behind this store to provide access to quality and sustainable products for new moms. She has a passion to partner up with small businesses and a lot of the product lines in the store are small businesses themselves or women led companies. She is very excited for the future and cannot wait to be apart of this community in a small way!
